Once, or each spring

Deep clean

A slower, more detailed visit for a home that has gone a while, or for the start of a recurring schedule. Spring slots fill first, so ask in February.

What it adds

  • Everything in a recurring clean

  • Baseboards, door frames and light switches wiped

  • Window tracks and sills cleaned

  • Inside the oven and refrigerator when you add them

  • Tile, grout lines and fixtures scrubbed by hand

The checklist

What a deep clean covers, and what it does not

Deep cleans take more time, so we send a larger pair or book two visits.

  • Kitchen

Cabinet fronts, backsplash, behind the small appliances and the stovetop in pieces.

    • Inside the oven is an add-on you choose

  • Bathrooms

Grout lines, fixtures, vent covers, shower tracks and the floor edges.

    • We do not treat mold

  • Living areas and bedrooms

Baseboards, ceiling corners within reach, window tracks and vent covers.

    • Ceiling fans are wiped within reach of a step stool

  • Entry and hallways

Door frames, switch plates, banisters and the floor edges.

    • Walls are spot-cleaned, not washed

How pricing works for this clean

No price is printed here, because it depends on your home. You get it in writing after the walkthrough.

  • What moves the number

Square footage, the number of bathrooms, how long since the last clean, pets and the add-ons you pick.

  • What the estimate includes

The checklist above and our products. Mold, hoarding and heavy lifting are not included.

  • When you get the number

In writing after the walkthrough. A deep clean is quoted as a job, not an hourly rate.

How a visit goes

  1. 01

    Step 1: Walkthrough

We look at the tracks, the grout and the corners, and agree what is in and out.

  2. 02

Step 2: Two visits or one long one

A larger home is two visits on consecutive days, so the same pair finishes the work.

  3. 03

    Step 3: The finish

We leave the checklist with what was cleaned and what we recommend for next time.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Next step

Many customers move to a recurring schedule afterward, which keeps the next deep clean short.

Before we arrive

  • Pets

Tell us where they stay. A deep clean opens cabinets and moves small items, so we ask to know where they go.

    • A note on the door is enough

  • Empty the surfaces

Clear counters and floors of small items, and anything you do not want touched.

    • We do not pack or unpack your belongings

  • What we do not do

Mold, hoarding, biohazards and heights. We refer these to a specialist.

    • See our policies page

Questions about this clean

Do you clean the oven?

Yes, as an add-on. We clean it cool and wash the racks in your sink.

How long does a deep clean take?

It depends on the home. We give you the time and the number of people in your written estimate.

Is a deep clean the same as a move-out clean?

No. A move-out clean is done in an empty home to a different checklist.

Ask for a deep clean

Tell us the size of the home and the last time it was cleaned. We reply by the next business day.
