For households that notice dust

Low-dust clean

We damp-wipe instead of dusting dry, vacuum with a HEPA filter and use washed cloths in every home. It cuts the dust we can reach. It is not a medical treatment.

Every visit

  • Damp-wiped shelves, sills and surfaces, never a dry feather duster

  • Floors vacuumed with a HEPA-filter vacuum, then damp-mopped

  • Fresh cloths washed at our shop, never reused between homes

  • Fragrance-free products on every visit

  • Bedding straightened, not shaken out

The checklist

Where the dust collects

We leave the checklist and the list of products used, with the filter changed date.

  • Bedrooms

Headboards, nightstands, sills and the floor edges, damp-wiped and vacuumed.

    • Mattress and pillow covers are yours to wash

  • Living areas

Shelves, TV stands, vents within reach and the floor under the sofa when we can move it.

    • Upholstery is vacuumed, not shampooed

  • Entry and floors

Doormats, floor edges and the corners where the vacuum reaches.

    • Rugs are vacuumed on both sides when you ask

How pricing works for this clean

No price is printed here, because it depends on your home. You get it in writing after the walkthrough.

  • What moves the number

Rooms, floors, pets, how often we come and which rooms you want done first.

  • What the estimate includes

The checklist above, fragrance-free products and our HEPA-filter vacuum. Allergen testing is not included.

  • When you get the number

In writing after the walkthrough, before we book a date.

How a visit goes

  1. 01

    Step 1: The conversation

We ask what you notice, in which rooms, and which products to leave out entirely.

  2. 02

    Step 2: The product list

You read it before we start, and tell us to remove anything you do not want.

  3. 03

    Step 3: The visit

Makena or a pair she has trained cleans, top to bottom, so dust falls to the floor last.

  4. 04

    Step 4: The follow-up

After the second visit we ask which rooms to change, and adjust the checklist.

Before we arrive

  • Pets

Tell us about them and where they stay. Pet hair is vacuumed, not wiped.

    • A note on the door is enough

  • Ventilation

We open a window when we use a spray, unless you ask us not to.

    • Tell us about windows you keep shut

  • What we do not do

Mold, air-duct cleaning and allergen testing. We tell you who does those.

    • See our policies page

Who does it

Led by Makena

Makena Otieno leads every low-dust clean and trains each pair on the damp-wipe routine before they enter a home alone. She is the person to ask about a specific room or surface.

Questions about this clean

Will this stop my allergies?

We cannot promise that. We reduce the dust we can reach and leave out anything you ask us to. Your doctor knows your triggers.

Do you use any fragrance?

Not when you ask for fragrance-free. Tell us at the walkthrough.

Do you wash the cloths?

Yes, at our shop between homes, with the detergent on our product list.

Ask for a low-dust clean

Tell us what you notice and where. We reply by the next business day with a time for a walkthrough.
